Vineyard Chalchofe

The Foundation «Der Kulturweg» renewed in 2006 and 2010 the vineyard as well as the dry stone walls and paths at the location called Chalchofe, situated between Ausserberg and St. German. Supplementary a seating area with pergola was constructed.
Today 13 vine varieties are grown on the 300 square meters, some of them are specialties, others almost extinct.

White wines: Plantscher, Gwäss (Gouais blanc), Lafnetscha (Blanchier), Rèze, Petite Arvine, Fendant (Chasselas), Johannisberg (Gros Rhin), Muscat

Red wines: Pinot Noir, Gamay, Gamaret, Cornalin, Humagne Rouge, Malvoisie (Pinot Gris)
