The powerful landscape in the Reichenbach valley has attracted numerous tourists, artists and globetrotters since the 19th century. The Rosenlaui glacier with a surface of 6 km2 feeds the river Reichenbach, which thunders over the well-known Reichbach waterfalls to the valley. The glacier water also formed the Rosenlaui gorge, with highly polished cliffs which strongly contrast the smooth valley.
We recommend a round trip from Meiringen to Grindelwald.
Take the Reichenbachfall railway to Zwirgi. The Postbus takes you to Rosenlaui. Subsequently the Grindelwald bus takes you to Grindelwald.
