In a former bunker on the Escher canal near Näfels, the Linth Escher Foundation has set up an exhibition to pay tribute to Hans Conrad Escher. He is the builder of the Linthwerk and the first describer of Glarus geology.
A permanent exhibition shows documents of the Linth enterprise, hydraulic engineering tools and a model of the Linthwerk. A special attraction is the interactive relief of the canton of Glarus.
