Many paths lead to Müstair: the area surrounding the World Heritage property is surrounded by imposing mountains and gentle river landscapes. A special experience is a walk along the Way of St. James, one of the most important historical path networks in Europe. Discover impressive views of the valley and the World Heritage area on a gentle hike from Lü to Müstair and walk part of the Jakobsweg reverse. (Walking time 3:46 / Ascent 86 m / Descent 753 m)

Tip: in winter, you can also get around well with cross-country skiing boots and skis!

 

15:15 - 17.15 Guided tour of the Convent St. John in Müstair

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage property on a guided tour of the church, Holy Cross Chapel and monastery museum, or explore the area with all its nooks and crannies for yourself. The guided tour will open up the 1200-year-old world of images in the monastery church and give you an insight into the history and art treasures of the Benedictine nuns of Müstair. The monastery church contains the largest and best-preserved mural painting cycle from the early Middle Ages.
