With its 2970 m a.s.l. the Schilthorn is the highest peak in the Bernese Pre-Alps. Situated between the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Kiental valley, the Schilthorn offers a fascinating and breathtaking panorama. In the north, the view reaches even to the Jura, the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains. The summit is accessible by an aerial cableway, and an impressive revolving restaurant is located on the top of the mountain.
