Building - Rue Numa-Droz 57

In this building from the middle of the 19th century, note the row of windows just below the half-hipped roof gable. They provided a maximum of light for the small watchmaking workshop, like many others of its kind that are scattered throughout the entire town. Here, in 1913 Paul-Ernest Jacot had a workshop for repairing watch cases. Similar rows of window can be seen on the opposite building, which dates from 1864.
