Museum Ausserberg

The old village center in Ausserberg hosts some buildings worth seeing. Admire the barn in the trough village and the entrance to the granary, the Burgerstube (citizens’ room) with an old rope that served the “Chänilzug”, and "Tässle" for the allocation of irrigation water, or the Burgerstube with tin pots and wooden cups for serving Burger wine. Some of these buildings are part of today's museum in Ausserberg and open to public. Guided village tours are offered as well.
