A German immigrant who had settled in Saint-Imier, Léon Breitling installed his watchmaking firm on the Ruelle Montbrillant in 1892, which led to the name of his company: Léon G. Breitling S.A., Monbrillant Watch Manufactory. He specialised in sports timers with and without flyback hands, and in chronograph counters. The main body of the buildings is flanked by a house on each side. The composition of the complex is elegant, in keeping with the product that Breitling developed.
Flyback: Watch, which uses a single push of the button for stopping, resetting and restarting the chronograph function.
