Hennings Viewing Platform

The viewing platform, named after Friedrich Hennings, the chief engineer of the Albula line, offers a spectacular view of the Landwasser Viaduct and the surrounding landscape. It is located above the tunnel after the Schmittentobel Viaduct and allows visitors to watch passing trains.

The platform can be reached in just five minutes via a well-developed path from the stop “Schmitten GR Landwasserviadukt.” It is also accessible on foot from the Landwasser Viaduct (15 minutes), the parking area (25 minutes), Schmitten village (40 minutes), and Filisur station (50 minutes).
