How did a child grow up in a monastery? What did a monk own? An animated film, documents and writing materials give an insight into life in the early Middle Ages and show what once was important. We will then design a document ourselves for something that is important to us. We fold this document professionally and put it in a small box, which we decorate beautifully. In this way we give value to what is important to us.
Recommended age: 2nd to 5th class
Duration: 2 hours
Total costs: CHF 250.- plus entrance fee (from 10 persons CHF 7.- per student, under 10 persons CHF 9.-)
Times of realisation: all year round during the opening hours of the Abbey District

It is a 10 minute walk from the St.Gallen train station to the Stiftsbezirk.
From the St.Gallen train station, bus line 11 goes in the direction of Abacus-Platz. The bus stop "Stiftsbezirk" is in the immediate proximity of the Abbey Library.
